Current Leadership for Cub Pack 177

Charter Representative – Kevin Little
Kevin Little has been a registered leader with Cub Scout Pack 177 since 2010 where he has served as Tiger Den leader, Webelos Den leader, treasurer, Cubmaster and Committee Chair. He currently serves as the Charter Organization Representative for Cub Scout Pack 177, Troop 177 and STEM Scouts 177.

Kevin also serves on the Duty to God Committee. This dedicated group of adults assist scouts of all faiths in the Garden State Council earn their religious awards. In 2015 Kevin’s name was added to the “Wall of Honor” at Gloucester Township Citizens Appreciation Park for his service to the community.

Kevin earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Business & Finance from Mount Saint Mary’s University. Upon graduation he went to work for IBM Corporation. He is currently employed by the New Jersey Department of Education.Kevin and his wife Tricia have three children. We are thankful for the years of experience and dedication he brings to us.

Committee Chair – Paul Bouchard
Paul started his scouting journey as a Tiger cub in 1984 with Pack 195 on Loring Air Force Base in Limestone, ME. After he moved to Van Buren, ME and joined Pack 196 he earned his Arrow of Light. After crossing over to Troop 196, Paul’s scouting adventures include earning the Paul Bunyan Axemanship award, his religious award and many, many camping trips. In the summer of 1992 he earned his Eagle Scout rank with Palms and continued with Troop 196 as an Instructor. That summer he worked as a Camp Councilor at the Katahdin Scout Reservation – Camp Roosevelt in Eddington, ME. He is also a lifetime member of the National Eagle Scout Association (NESA).

Paul moved to Boston, MA after High School and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University. In 2015, he finished his MBA from Northeastern University and currently is the Manager of the Project Office for an Aerospace Company.

In 2015, when his son came home with a flier and asked to join Cub Scouts, Paul was brought back into the Scouting family. He started as the Assistant Den Leader for the Tigers and has followed his son in that capacity as he has progressed through the ranks. In 2016 he assumed the role as the Pack Committee Chair and enjoys setting the Cub Scouts up for success in their many adventures. As an adult leader he has completed his BALOO Training (Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation), and is currently working on completing his Wood Badge.

In 2017, Paul continues his role as the Pack Committee Chair and will be helping to guide the new group of Lions on their initial adventures in Cub Scouting. We are thankful for the years of experience and dedication he brings to us.

Cub Master – Terry McManus
Terry has 17 years in Scouting. He started his scouting journey in 1979 with Pack 156 in Ramsey NJ. As a cub, he earned his arrow of light award. As a scout, he earned two religious awards in his faith. He was also an Ordeal Member in the Order of the Arrow (OA) and later ended his youth Boy Scout journey by earning the highest rank of Eagle Scout in 1989 with Troop 31 Ramsey NJ. He is also a lifetime member of the National Eagle Scout Association (NESA). He continued to work as an Assistant Scout Master before starting his professional career.

After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University, he spent several years in the telecommunication industry. Currently, Terry works as the Director of Commercial Billing for Comcast. He has worked for them now for 17 years.

Terry joined our pack in 2015 when his two sons started as Tigers. He is now starting his third year as their den leader. During this time, he has also been one of our assistant cub masters. As an adult leader, he has earned the den leader award for two years, become a brotherhood member in the OA Lenape Lodge and compeleted his Baloo Training (Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation), and earned the Scout Leader’s Training Award . Currently, he is completing his Wood Badge.

In 2017, Terry accepted the role of Cubmaster and continues to support his sons, his den, and our pack. We are thankful for the years of experience and dedication he brings to us.

Tiger Den Leader – John Iovacchino
John has been with Cub Pack 177 since September 2015 at the time his son joined the Pack. He has been a founding leader of the Pack’s Lion Scouts and is now Den Leader for the Tiger Scouts. John is also responsible for bringing the STEM Scouts program into the 177 Scouting family and is currently the Lab Manager for both an Elementary and Middle school STEM Scouts labs.

John is a graduate of Drexel University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, a Masters of Science degree in Engineering Management and a Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. John has over 22 years of experience in the engineering profession, currently employed as a Technical Director for a top Fortune 500 engineering organization. We are thankful for the years of experience and dedication he brings to us.

Assistant Leaders

Robin Vecchiarelli
Robin is the assistant den leader for the Webelos and has been a volunteer with the pack for the last 2 years.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Widener University and is a registered nurse at Cooper University Hospital where she manages a clinical database.

As a mom of 3 sons, including a current Webelo, she appreciates how scouting helps boys build character and gain confidence in a fun and supportive environment. Robin truly enjoys helping the cub scouts learn new skills and explore different adventures which will help them both now and in the future! We are thankful for the years of experience and dedication she brings to us.

Jeff Kuc
Jeff started scouting in 1986 with Boy Scout troop 272 in Rose Valley Pennsylvania where he earned the Rank of Eagle in 1992. During his time as a Boy Scout Jeff participated in two high adventures and spent two weeks a summer at Camp Barton in up sate New York.

Jeff received his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Widener University in 1998. Jeff currently works as a Special Agent for the Department of Homeland Security, a position he has help for the past 15 years.

Jeff joined the pack with his oldest son who is now a Boy Scout and continues with the pack as his other son prepares to cross over from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. Jeff has been a tiger den leader, Webelos leader, assistant cub master, cub master and now serves as assistant Arrow of light den leader. We are thankful for the years of experience and dedication he brings to us.
